All goods remain property to the vendor until fully paid for. Warranty is limited to the REPLACEMENT of goods/parts invoiced only. Gilroys Race Transmissions have 'first right of repair'. If the transmission is dismantled by another shop this will void warranty. Warranty does not cover incorrect fitment. Warranty does not cover misalignment from aftermarket adaptors. Transmissions must be fitted by a qualified mechanic - we will ask for proof of this. Warranty DOES NOT cover consequential loss.
If a customer's car is to remain on business premises overnight- it will be at the owner's risk and Gilroys Race Transmissions will not be responsible for losses or damages that occur.
For all 4x4 Vehicles- no warranty is given on vehicles with GVM upgrades or vehicles loaded above factory limits.
The following Warranty Categories are as follows:
- Transmissions with Horsepower Rating: TH350, TH400's, Trimatics, Powerglides, C4 (including C6 and C10), 10R80, 4L80E and Diesel High Performance - 6 months from the date of final invoice payment for workmanship only.
- 1 year/20,000km warranty for ZF 6 and 8 Speed Transmissions only- whichever comes first.
- 1 year/20,000km warranty for standard transmissions only- whichever comes first.
Warranty category will be added to the customers invoice and quote.
All electrical components, regardless of type of build, where invoiced will carry a 3 month warranty from date of final invoice.
*The Customer/Workshop must supply vehicle details such as: REGO/VIN, Odometer reading and Car Make/Model prior to collection of transmission. Failure to do so will void warranty.
** All Transmissions must be serviced every 10,000 kms by a qualified transmission specialist - we will ask for proof of this if a warranty claim arises.

All Return freight/shipping is to be paid for by the customer until an inspection is carried out and warranty claim assessed - approved warranty claims will have freight and shipping costs reimbursed.
